Spire Server Requirements
Supported Operating Systems
Spire Server is supported on the following Microsoft Windows editions:
Windows 8.1 (excluding Home editions)
Windows 10 (excluding Home editions)
Windows 11 (excluding Home editions)
Windows Server 2012 R2
Windows Server 2016
Windows Server 2019
Windows Server 2022
Notes:
A 64-bit operating system is required.
Browsers that are not HTML5 compliant (such as Internet Explorer 11) are not supported, as Spire uses HTML5 extensively.
It is highly recommended that Spire Server and Spire data be installed on the System Drive.
Hardware Requirements
Minimum (Light Use)
2.4 GHz quad-core processor
8 GB RAM available for Spire
Additional RAM is required if running Remote Desktop Services and/or Exchange Server
Display resolution of 1024 × 768 or higher
512 MB disk space for Server and PostgreSQL database installation (System Drive)
5+ GB available disk space for data and data snapshots (varies by database size)
100/1000 IPv4 network for LAN environments
Recommended (5+ Users or 1+ GB Database)
Intel i7 or 2.8 GHz Xeon processor
16 GB RAM or more
SSD or fast RAID array
Gigabit network
Light-use implementations may operate on minimum specifications. However, environments with five or more users or databases larger than 1 GB should follow the recommended requirements.
