If previewing a report shows a blank page for any Spire reports on a workstation, please do the below steps. 



1. Close Spire Desktop
  • Make sure Spire Desktop is completely closed (check your taskbar or Task Manager to ensure it is not running in the background).
2. Open System Environment Variables
  • Press the Windows Key on your keyboard.
  • Type environment variables into the search box.
  • Click on Edit the system environment variables (you may need administrator permission).
3. Open the Variables Window
  • In the small box that pops up (System Properties), click the button near the bottom that says Environment Variables....
4. Create the New Variable
  • Under the top section ("User variables"), click the New... button.
  • In the Variable name box, type:
    QTWEBENGINE_CHROMIUM_FLAGS
    Use code with caution.
  • In the Variable value box, type:
    --disable-gpu
    Use code with caution.
  • Click OK on all the open windows to save your changes.
5. Restart Spire Desktop
  • Open Spire Desktop again and check if your issue is fixed.
